In 2006 Dawsons moved into the marine sector – winning a contract with Sunseeker International to provide bespoke audiovisual & control systems to their range of yachts.

Since 2006 we have completed award winning installations, winning the coveted ‘Cedia Best Marine Installation’ in 2008 and being ‘Highly Commended’ in 2009 and 2011. 

Dawsons provide a complete design and specification during the early stages of the manufacturing process of a yacht and oversee all the cable installation. Our installation team will then fit and commission the system. Once the yacht has been completed Dawsons provide a full hand over to the owner/captain assuring seamless control and an understanding of all products on board.

Dawsons have also completed a number of ‘retro fit’ system to yachts so it doesn’t matter if the yacht is already built our installation team have the skills to install a system to any yacht large or small! Dawsons can offer varying levels of system from a single zone installation to a more complex multi room audio/video distribution system. Why limit the enjoyment to the interior of the yacht? Dawsons can move the experience to any foredeck or sundeck area of the yacht allowing the client full control of any source available. For some installations we have even created a ‘party mode’ so the yacht can be used for entertaining a large number of people.
